Residents Racing into Easter

Residents' Racing Night at Pakenham Racing Club a great success

Timbertop Estate residents brought in the Easter weekend with the Residents’ Racing Night at Pakenham Racing Club.

Despite the chilly air, last Thursday night’s antics at Pakenham Racing Club were fun for kids and adults alike, with races, face painting, arts and crafts, jumping castles and a special visit from the Easter Bunny!

Two lucky families also won the chance to name a race and to present the winner’s trophy to the winning horse owner, trainer or jockey. This was a rare opportunity to be part of the post-race action at the winner’s bar, thanks to Parklea Development. The winning families were the Birch family, who named their race “The Birch Family Hardham Handicap”, and Sarah and Bek, whose award went to the winner of “The Pot and Parma” race.

A big thank you to everyone who attended the Residents’ Racing Night. It was a great way for Timbertop residents to mingle with their neighbours and make new friends while bringing in the Easter weekend. Parklea, who sponsored the event, hope to host another family night at Pakenham Racing Club later this year, so keep your eye on upcoming events hosted by the Timbertop Residents’ Group for more updates!
