Simone Hoath was elected President and hopes to continue to work on behalf of Timbertop residents to further develop the welcoming nature of the estate. Outgoing President Ryan Doyle was elected as the new Treasurer, with many thanks for his dedication to the committee throughout his presidency.
Longstanding and founding member Stephen Birch will continue his role as Vice President, having provided knowledge and expertise since the committee’s inception, and will also serve as the new Membership Coordinator.
It was great to welcome relatively new Timbertop resident and committee member, Georgia Davies-Jackson, as both Secretary and Grants Coordinator. Georgia joined the committee last year and, having previously worked with the Council, her experience and knowledge will be invaluable to the committee.
The committee’s general members will include a mix of new and familiar faces. New members Jenn and Dan Woods join existing members Julie Owen, Maxine Roewer and David Harris, who continue to support the committee with their time and effort.
The committee is still looking to fill some vacancies, with the roles of Events Coordinator and Council Liaison currently available. Residents interested in more information or in volunteering for these roles are encouraged to contact the committee or attend the next meeting.
The committee is always keen to have residents join their meetings and everyone is welcome to come along. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at Officer Community Hub, 2 Parker Street, Officer, at 7pm. All residents are encouraged to come and say hello, see what the committee does and give their thoughts as a Timbertop resident.
Residents who have ideas to share but cannot attend meetings are encouraged to contact the committee via firstname.lastname@example.org or through the Facebook page facebook/timbertop.residents.
