The Easter spirit was alive and well at Timbertop this year as over 100 children and their families enjoyed our annual Easter Egg hunt at Hicks Reserve. The beautiful weather enabled many families to catch up with neighbours while their kids played together in the reserve and on the playground after the hunt.
The Easter Bunny and the Timbertop Residents Group Committee hid a record number of eggs in the garden and up the hill, but the children certainly had sharp hunting skills, as all of the eggs were found in record time! It was wonderful to see some sharing their eggs with others who may not have found as many.
A large number of children, as well as a couple of adults, entered our colouring competition. It was great to see residents getting involved in all the day had to offer. After careful consideration, the winners were Dylan T (0-4yrs), Nicola H (5-9yrs), Anine (10–16yrs) and Bec H (16+yrs).
Thank you to Coles Eden Rise for their sponsorship and donation of the eggs for the hunt this year.
Thanks to the many families who attended the hunt and the Timbertop Estate Residents’ Group Committee who made it such a wonderful event. We hope you had a lovely Easter and hope to see you again next year!
