Construction Update

It’s been great to see the construction begin on many of the homes of our new residents. Excitingly, summer has also heralded the commencement of the Timbertop Estate Display Village construction. The Display Village will consist of over 30 display homes built by Melbourne’s premier builders.

With all the major site works completed last year, including stage stripping, earthworks, laying of the roads subgrade, the kerb and channel, installation of the sewer, drainage, mains water,

electric works and the laying of the NBN cable. The new year has seen the concreting of footpaths and driveways. The retaining walls have now been signed off by South East Water and works have commenced. The Parklea team are still working towards a March Settlement for this release.

The VINTAGE Release

The majority of the earthworks have been completed. Services including sewerage and drainage are 95% complete and work on the water mains will commence on the 24th of January. The electric and NBN services will be installed in mid February, which will then provide access for the footpaths and vehicle crossings to be completed. The retaining walls will commence after those in the Vintage Release are completed approximately early February. We are still aiming to have the stage completed in late March for an early April settlement.

We are still negotiating with Melbourne Water for the outfall drain for the balance of the estate, we hope to have it done by Feb 2014 and start construction on both these stages in March 2014. We still expect to have titles by July 2014. If the outfall drain is delayed any further than we would expect settlements to also be pushed out by the commensurate time frame.
